Our next FIDE RATED Rapid & Blitz Tournaments are scheduled for February 16th at our Chess Club. Seats are limited to 32 players. The prize fund is 10,000 THB. You can find the registration form here: https://form.jotform.com/250274548730054
In the Rapid tournament, 6 rounds will be played by Swiss System. The tournament will start at 10:00 and finish by 17:00, with one hour for lunch break. The time control will be 15 minutes per player, with 5 seconds increment for each move.
In the Blitz tournament, 9 rounds will be played by Swiss System. The Blitz tournament will start at 18:00 and finish around 20:00. The time control will be 3 minutes per player, with 2 seconds increment for each move.
Each player who would like to join the tournaments must have a FIDE Id Number. If you would like to join, but you don’t have a FIDE Id number yet, please contact us and we will try to help you to obtain the FIDE Id Number on time for the tournament.
