Christmas is just around the corner and BimBi Italiani in Thailand is happy to launch this years CHRISTMAS BOXES solidarity project which is a seasonal solidarity initiative in which expat children and their families prepare and share gifts with vulnerable children living in the foster care homes and the underprivileged communities of Bangkok, Pattaya and rural Chiang Rai, northern Thailand.
Taking part in the initiative is simple. All you need to do is prepare a box with a set of predetermined gifts. The box will be collected and donated during Christmas by the NGOs Take Care Kids Thailand, Saint Martin Foundation, St. Camillus Foundation of Thailand, the Xaverian Missionaries and the Camillian Social Centre (Chian Rai).
The Christmas Box is an anonymous box or bag containing the following five items:
- One Christmas Card
- One toy
- One school item
- One beauty or homecare product
- One sweet thing
If you have children, please ensure they are engaged in putting together the Christmas Boxes as the initiative also aims to promote the value of solidarity and sharing amongst children.
Please SEND THE BOXES BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8th to:
Phathiphan Mancuso, 5/766 Ban Prachachuern 8 alley, tampon bang talat, amphoe Park kret, Nonthaburi 11120 Thailand
Whatsapp: +66 99 114 8163
The Christmas Boxes initiative will be combined with a fundraising initiative to ensure those living outside Thailand can contribute to the project through donations.
Special thanks to the Italian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (TICC), the Piccolo Club di Italiani in Thailandia and Bellman Solutions for their participation and collaboration in this initiative.
