Bangkok FC Academy – Creating professionals

Bangkok FC Academy cover

Bangkok FC Academy is the Academy and Community Football programme for the professional team Bangkok FC. They offer all year training programmes for players from 5 to 21 years of age, with all abilities.

Beginners can develop their skills and love for the game in a positive coaching environment with open venue development sessions.

Development Sessions

These sessions are available as one-off paid classes without having to commit to a longer term programme, the idea is for kids to try the sessions to make sure they have fun and enjoy the game. Vouchers can be purchased and redeemed each time you come to a training session. Sessions are run midweek after school Tuesday to Friday and during the mornings on Saturday and Sunday with classes open to both boys and girls.

Academy & Team programme

Those looking to push their game to the next level can join the Academy and Development Team programme with weekly training, matches, leagues and tournaments.

The team programme begins for players born in 2014 and runs right the way through to U21s. Younger age groups play 7-a-side, moving onto 9-a-side, before the last progression to full 11-a-side football.

From U13 upwards players have the chance to join the Academy 11-a-side programme. Bangkok FC Academy is a professional academy fully recognized by the Thai Football Association allowing entry to the very best tournaments and leagues Thailand has to offer.

All Academy and Team programs follow the Bangkok FC Academy coaching philosophy and yearly training plan. Sessions are based around creativity and decision-making, with sessions structured in such a way that players learn to make decisions for themselves in realistic game scenarios. This transfers directly to real match situations and to each individual’s long-term development.

The 7-a-sdide Team program offers a weekly Saturday team training and Sunday match, with additional midweek training for some of the age-groups and optional extra training for all players.  The 11-a-side Academy programme offers 4 training sessions per week along with a weekly match.

For those players with the dream of one day becoming professional, Bangkok FC Academy provides clear long-term pathways throughout the age groups and into the Bangkok FC First Team squad currently competing in Thai League 3.

Holiday Development Football Camps

BANGKOK FC | Half Term Football Camp

In addition to this year round training we also offer holiday football camps

Development football camps are held during school holiday periods. Both boys and girls can join development camps that are open to children from 5 to 12 years of age with players placed into appropriate groups based on age and ability. Camps are focused on fun and maximum engagement time with the ball to ensure that players leave with a new found love of football.

These camps run from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday.

Holiday Invitational Football Camps

Invitational camps are only open to select players from the team programme and specially selected players from other parts of the Bangkok FC programme. Children are placed with like-minded players in an environment to harness and accelerate their development and understanding of the game with a higher intensity camp that runs from 8.30am to 11.30am.

Whilst most of our training takes place at our Bangkok FC Academy training base located in Sukhumvit HERE.  We also offer our training at a number of International Schools as well as other locations around Bangkok including our First team training base.
