Situated on the 8th floor of The Emquartier, Jones & Mowlem is known for serving up sensational fish & chips – a sure-fire hit when you’re eating out with the kids. Other notable dishes include the smoked salmon carbonara and lamb shank with truffle mash. Portions are also generous, so be sure to arrive with an appetite. One child eats for free per accompanying parent ordering a main course.
Mexican chain restaurants don’t always enjoy a great rep, but Sunrise Tacos in Bangkok bucks the trend. Located in Sukhumvit Soi 33, Bistro 33 is a great choice for families. Sunday brunch. From 11.30am to 3pm is a lively affair, with a range of options in the buffet including pizza; BBQ; roast turkey, ham and lamb; salads and cold cuts and more. The cost for adults is 1,200 baht plus VAT with a free flow of beer, wine or spirits (or 500 baht without alcohol). While not entirely free, kids under 12 eat for the bargain price of 250 baht, plus they get to try their hand at making pizza.
