Festive Season at the Siam Kempinski

Man wear Santa at the Siam Kempinski

There is no better way to start the festive season than with the magical experience of a Christmas tree lighting!

A Small, Stunning Piano Concert And Ballet

The stunningly elegant Siam Kempinski hotel, tucked away behind Siam Paragon and sometimes overlooked, was the scene for an enchanting mini concert, or “Concertini,” event on December 1st.

We were thrilled as the Kempinski lobby was transformed into a beautiful stage setting to showcase two talented ballet dancers who mesmerised the audience. The children were especially enchanted with excerpts from the classical Christmas favourite, ‘The Nutcracker’. The kids were wide eyed and in wonder of watching one of their favourite Christmas stories coming to life and being performed so close to them. To everyone’s surprise, considering the size of the crowd, you couldn’t hear a pin drop during the entire performance.

Santa Actually Came To Town

The evening only got better for the whole family, with the highlight definitely being the long awaited arrival and appearance of Santa. The Kempinski flew ‘Ol Saint Nick in from The Netherlands especially to spread festive cheer and goodwill at all their events over the festive period! Children could sit on Santa’s lap and whisper their secret Christmas wishes into his ear and it made for a wonderful photo opportunity for the whole family.

If you’re interested: Santa will be in resident at the hotel until midnight on the 24th and I would highly recommend taking the kids to go and find him as he makes his special appearances during the day.

Sweet Treats Around The Tree

The audience was then treated to an array of festive treats served around their beautifully decorated tree, complete with gingerbread houses in many shapes and sizes and a toy train which constantly circulates the tree to the delight of many little excited faces. I’m sure this tree will make its way into many family Christmas card images this year!

The whole experience was a truly happy and joyful start to the Christmas season.
