Win 2 Tickets to See Cinderella on Ice!

Cinderella on Ice - Balloons

The Imperial Ice Stars bring two impressive productions: Swan Lake on Ice (Sept 26 & 27) and Cinderella on Ice (Sept 28 & 29) to town, as part of Bangkok’s 21st International Festival of Dance & Music.

Marvel at ice dance in a full theatrical setting where ice dancers with unrivaled skill and athleticism put on performances that blur the line between dance and skating. The story-telling is powerful, the choreography is creative and the skaters, all 35 of them, put on an exhilarating show. In their ranks are 20 World, European and National Championship skaters and they live up to their reputation for pushing
the boundaries of ice dance with their creative talent.

The only ice-skating company
to have won a theatrical award, the Imperial Ice Stars was founded in 2003 by James Cundall, one of the leading producers of live entertainment in Asia and Australia; and Tony Mercer, regarded as the world’s foremost creator of contemporary theatre on ice.

The Imperial Ice Stars have garnered worldwide acclaim for their innovative and sophisticated productions. Their shows are also known for magnificent sets, opulent costumes created by Russia’s leading designers, spectacular lighting and stunning special effects, including flying, acrobatics, magic, projection, snow, fire and rain, as and when the story demands.

Cinderella on Ice benefits from dramatic interpretation, beautiful sets and dazzling costumes made by the costume cutters for the Bolshoi Ballet. In addition, it boasts a score, written specifically for ice dance, that breaks new ground.
