While technically not in Bangkok (but rather, around 100 km south-east of the capital), Chonburi is one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. 1. Frost Magical Ice Siam – Kratinglai – Pattaya Rd, Pattaya, Bangkok
Wrap up warm and prepare for a magical, winter-inspired adventure! Spread across 30,000 square metres, Frost Magical Ice Siam is a huge ice park split into two sprawling zones. Outside, The Himmapan zone is designed as a white sand sculptured forest full of spectacular carvings, including mythical forest creatures. Indoors, Siam Heaven is set at a constant -10 degrees and houses the largest collection of ice sculptures in ASEAN. While the kids skid down the ice slide, adults can grab a drink at the ice bar and enjoy the odd sensation of subzero temperatures in Thailand.

2. Rubberland – 42 Moo 9, Sukhumvit Road, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi
Quirky, creative and educational, Rubberland puts a fun spin on one of Thailand’s biggest domestic exports. It’s easy to fill a day with the kids at Harbour Mall – a vast shopping destination packed with tons of family-friendly entertainment and activities. Older ones can duel it out in the dark at Laser Battle, scale an indoor climbing wall at Deep Climbing Gym, or perform jumps, leaps and flips at Jump XL Trampoline Park. For the younger set, Harbor Land offers 2,500+ square meters of indoor slides, obstacles and an ocean-themed climbing frame. The park boasts 21 water rides ranging from gentle options for little ones to heart-thumping rides such as the Duelling Aqua Coasters – one of the longest rides in the world. Every question you’ve ever wanted to ask about the life of a snake is answered at Siam Serpentarium – Asia’s first and only immersive snake experience. Dedicated zones include Immersive Snake Museum, an interactive forest environment that reveals how snakes are born, hunt and survive.
