Peuan Deratchan Zoo is a privately-funded mini zoo exhibiting up to 40 species of reptiles and birds, alongside other animals. Located in a quiet area, the zoo is good for younger children, allowing them to get up close with a variety of colourful birds and small reptiles. Both children and adults are able to enter a cage filled with various bird species and tortoises. You can also take pictures while holding a snake and ask the owner individual questions about each animal. Best of all, this privately funded zoo accepts donations, but has free admission!
